Come prove volunteerism works while also advertising the Alachua County Libertarian Party on two signs in a high trafficked area of Gainesville!
The Alachua County Libertarians have adopted NW 23rd Ave, between NW 13th Street and NW 21st Terrace. We are meeting in the Taco Bell parking lot, which is at the corner of 23rd and 13th, at 8 am to pass out safety gear and bags. The City of Gainesville has put up signs in recognition of our efforts.
At this meeting we will review the success of the Libertarian Outreach Effort and Candidate Mixer.
We will also be discussing events, strategy and volunteer opportunities for the Greg Caudill for Alachua County Commissioner Campaign. The campaign will be holding its first fundraiser opportunity; the details of which will be discussed at the meeting.
Come join us as we take the momentum from the 2016 campaign cycle and build upon it for our 2018 candidates!
Come meet other Libertarians in our area, many new from the August Outreach Events, while sharing drinks and good times with local Libertarian candiates scheduled to be on the ballot in November 2018. Ask them anything and let them know what issues are important to you.
Together, we'll make sure the Libertarian Party is heard in Alachua County during the 2018 elections.
Come help us knock on the doors of all 800 registered Libertarians in Alachua County! We need every one of them to know that the Alachua County Libertarian affiliate is here, is active and needs their support to get Libertarian candidates into office.
The more volunteers we have the faster it will go and hopefully we can get it all done in just a few Saturdays. The hope is our core group of volunteers and supporters will grow and then in the fall we'll use the additional help to reach out to all of the Non-Party Affiliate voters and be a force to contend with in the 2018 elections (so far it looks like there will at least be 4 Libertarians on every Alachua County ballot!).
We plan to meet at McDonald's for breakfast, literature dispersal, and breaking into groups of two, but you are free to start on your own for a stretch of time that's convenient for you; just ask us for the brochures, petitions and mobile app instructions ahead of time and be sure to wear your Libertarian shirts!
The Libertarian Party had amazing growth in 2016; this campaign will help us continue that progress to major party status. Come be a part!
Since our July Meeting, the Alachua County Libertarians were busy cleaning up the streets and reaching out to fellow Libertarians in our county. In our August meeting we will review those activities, discuss how they can be improved and make plans for bigger outreaches in the Fall.
We will also be discussing events, strategy and volunteer opportunities for the Greg Caudill for Alachua County Commissioner Campaign. Come join us as we take the momentum from the 2016 campaign cycle and build upon it for our 2018 candidates!
